Canggu is the epicenter of Bali's digital-nomad boom: rice-paddy backroads lined with cafes, co-working spaces, and surf breaks within a five-minute scooter ride. It's productive and social if you want that, but it's gotten crowded and developed fast, with notorious traffic on the shortcut roads and construction noise where paddies used to be. You'll surf in the morning, work from a laptop-friendly cafe by noon, and find a wellness or networking event every night. Great for a season; some find it loses the 'real Bali' magic.
